How to take MSM Crystals Organic Sulfur

There are multiple ways to properly use MSM as a dietary supplement. Many people choose to use pure MSM crystals (as seen in video 1 below). However, we also offer MSM capsules which offer the same MSM, without fillers or flow agents, encapsulated within a vegetable capsule (as seen in video 2 below). Our capsules are an appealing method if you're traveling often and the bagged crystals are difficult to package, or if you just don't enjoy the potential bitterness associated with this supplement.

Instructions: How to Take MSM

  • Open your half pound package from No Boundaries Health and Wellness
  • Pour a small amount of water into a glass, there is no precise MSM to water ratio
  • Add one scoop (3 grams) of our MSM Crystals to the water (if you've lost your scoop, there are approximately 4 grams of sulfur crystals in 1 teaspoon.
  • Swirl or mix the solution until the MSM crystals have dissolved.
  • Drink the mixture
  • If you find that you don't enjoy the bitterness of this product, please try our MSM capsules or utilize one of our suggested methods to mask the bitterness of MSM.
  • We don't recommend taking MSM before bed, visit our blog to learn why.

How much MSM should I take?

MSM continues to be researched via clinical studies for a wide array of benefits. While there are slight differences based on the desired outcomes, most studies have utilized a dosage of 3 grams up to three times per day. For this reason, we recommend starting around 3 grams and slowly ramping it up from there. This supplement has been found to be quite safe with a very low risk of side effects, even with very high dosages. However, as with all things, if you have specific medical questions, you should consult your primary care provider or pharmacist prior to using this product.

It is not unusual to give MSM Organic Sulfur to pets for joint health. However, we are unable to provide specific dosing advice. Please have a discussion with your local vet.

Question: Take the dissolved crystals on an empty stomach? Before, during,
